Laura Fabbri is a Canadian artist based in the Niagara region. She earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of Western Ontario in 2013. Her practice includes abstract and expressionist painting, digital illustration, and the creation of handmade greeting cards that bring art into meaningful moments.

Her artistic journey began in childhood with graphite drawing; a meditative process that laid the foundation for her creative voice. As her work evolved, she began experimenting with acrylics, initially producing dreamlike landscapes and eventually moving into abstraction. Her current work explores the interactions of color, light, tone, and texture, expressing emotional depth through layers, distortion, and reflection.

Fabbri’s philosophy is rooted in the idea that learning to draw is learning to see. She builds her compositions from the belief that perception shapes everything, and when one looks beyond the expected, the ordinary becomes extraordinary. Each piece often begins with a chosen palette and a hypothetical light source, evolving into a dynamic play between chaos and balance.​
